We offer two annual series during Advent and Lent. These are a series of three hour-long lectures that present opportunities during Advent and Lent to spend time with the Director of the Lay Division learning about these liturgical seasons: what is the history and mystery of Advent/Lent, the spirit with which we ought to live during Advent/Lent, the customs and practices of the seasons, the Scripture stories we hear proclaimed during the Church’s liturgy, and much, much more! Eventually these lecture series will be expanded to cover the rest of the Church’s liturgical seasons, as well.
